Founded in 2009 by Carrie Singer, who continues to serve as President, Animal Guardian Network has grown from a one-acre sanctuary in Cave Creek into the 23-acre Healing River Ranch in Camp Verde along the Verde River. Today, more than 100 farm and domestic animals call the sanctuary home, living in thoughtfully designed habitats where they receive lifelong care, compassionate stewardship, and the opportunity to age with dignity.
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Lulu’s Fund, part of the Timothy T. Day Foundation, Healing River Ranch is owned outright and remains debt-free, ensuring that more resources can be directed toward the lifelong care of the animals who depend on us.
