AGN was asked to intervene in a horse auction gone bad. A women in Texas was forced to sell three of her mother’s horses because of terminal health issues. The horses went to auction with the promise of a sale to a private party, but the promise was broken and the trio separated and sold off.
After many long hours of fact finding and negotiating, AGN was able to locate the trio, pay their bail and transport them. The auction and life circumstances left the trio al very thin and loaded with parasites which caused them to be quarantined for over two weeks.
Legend and Shorty were so tightly bonded that we felt anything other than coming to love at AGN would put them at risk of being separated. The adorable third horse min horse in the trio came to Arizona to be part of a local non-profit mini horse therapy program. Legend and Strom never leave each other’s side and will live together in harmony at AGN.
